This event:
The history of solidarity between the Black and Palestinian liberation movements is a long one, from the 1973 Dodge strike against UAW purchase of Israeli bonds which inspired the Dodge Revolutionary Union Movement to the training which the Panthers received from the PFLP in the late 60s, the anti-imperialist factions in these movements found ways to support each other. This workshop explores these histories and more.

This series:
In the past year, the movement for Palestinian liberation has attained unprecedented levels of mobilization. But strategic reflection and study is necessary to keep the movement moving. Writers Against the War on Gaza offers a series of workshops this summer to deepen the knowledge of five elements of the struggle for Palestine: “PACBI” (July 11), “Anti-repression” (July 25), “Black and Palestinian Solidarity” (Aug 8), and “History of Palestinian Resistance” (Aug 22). All are free to attend.
